Hi, I'm Catherine!
My interest in speech language pathology stems from personal experience: I am a person who stutters! I used to avoid situations and people and words for fear of stuttering. But, these days, thoughts of stuttering do not dominate my life. I learned that stuttering doesn't have to control me and it doesn't have to define me either.
I've been a certified speech language therapist since 2014. I have worked in a school-based setting with children with speech sound disorders and language disorders as well as children with autism and children and adolescents who stutter. I have also worked in private practice with adults and teens who stutter.
In my spare time, I enjoy photography, hiking and traveling with my family.
